#97

I know, I know, I haven't been updating and since I've completed a few things on my list you'll see a few new posts in the next few days. The first thing that was completed on my list though was #97. Matthew told me that he wanted the last item on my list to be one that he added (which was one that I wanted to put there anyways). The second he hit save he left the room and came running back in with a 'present' for me to start off my goals with, and they were none other than the gold aviators I was looking at a few weeks before. He bought them soon after I saw them, and was going to wait until my birthday to give them to me, but I'm sure glad that he didn't!

The picture of me in my new glasses was taken when Matthew and I were home visiting family and for my Grandmother's funeral. We wanted to take some time with my Mom, and continue on a tradition of visiting the Street of Dreams. Although every other person in the world would not share my view, but instead of living in a multi-level/million dollar mansion, I would much rather spend my life in a tall skyscraper condo! Matthew took this picture of me on the rooftop of the only two condos, while I was looking out towards Mt. Hood.

And so the journey begins...

Hello everyone! Friends, family and those who I have yet to meet, welcome to my first ever blog! I'm excited to start my 101 Things in 1001 Days challenge, as I see it as an opportunity to take time to evaluate my life, and accomplish the things that I always said I would, but have never gotten around to. First of all I would like to thank my amazing friend, Laura Cushman Magdalen, who inspired me to start this journey, as she too is in the midst of this challenge, and has always been an amazing inspiration to me! And of course, let's give my husband Matthew some props, as he is the one that will be taking the trip with me, without his love, I don't know where I would be today, and/or if any of my goals would be possible! Happy reading, and please, check-up on me, keep me on my toes, and send out inspiration to others by starting your own journey!
